If flavor had a headquarters, Hatay Mutfagi would be the undisputed CEO. We accidentally ordered half the menu (on purpose) and still debated licking the plates clean like uncultured savages. No regrets. Every bite was a full-blown edible sermon, layered, and probably illegal in three countries for being that good. And the Turkish tea? I’m now convinced they put something addictive in it. I could live off that stuff. Scratch that, I will live off that stuff. If you’re not here already, fix your life.

This was our first visit and definitely NOT our last. We were warmly welcomed and given a great explanation of the different types of kebabs and mezes that they offer. The service was excellent and the food was very delicious. We started with a gavurdağı salata and içli köfte and the portions were large enough for two. Both were delicious. The chef recommended we try the Hatay beyti Kebap that comes with spices and pine nuts atop of biber etmek. It was crazy delicious and so juicy. Again the portions were extra large. They started the meal with a few ikram meze and finished with tea or coffee. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as we will return.
